Take the Challenge

Whether it’s dancing babies, talking animals, attractive celebrities or catchy slogans, advertisers are always thinking up “cool factors” to help their product emerge through the clutter. Although we may remember the song the babies were dancing to and we may even use the slogan in everyday conversations, I’m not sure we always remember the brand and message associated with the particular advertisement. This leads me to wonder – if we can’t put two and two together does the advertisement lose its purpose, becoming just entertainment?

No matter how far removed from the classroom, marketers have to go back to the textbook and outline goals for each campaign, while making sure to connect to the brand.
