Let's Party!

In light of my birthday (yes, I am accepting gifts and chocolates!), I am inspired to do a blog post about what makes office life fun.

Some larger corporations, like Google, go all out to create a fun atmosphere for its employees, complete with slides, game rooms, and free food. Pixar also has an inspiring office with imaginative rooms and familiar characters. While some offices are more outfitted than others, the physical workplace is half the battle of fun.

Here at Kidd Group, we’re lucky enough to have a pretty neat physical workspace and some great people. Whether we’re celebrating birthdays (with delicious ice-cream cake), brainstorming our next great idea, watching Art & Copy, or having an in-house happy hour, we’re having fun and being creative.

  1. Hi!
I just published a small note on facebook about Kidd Group.

I was there this morning, and I have to say I was very impressed with how shicky the place looks. It is very nice designed, and eveyone looks very polished with ties and high heels on.
I am still taking it all in. The only thing was that everyone sits in an open space and everyone can see everyone. That is the only thing I am not 100% sure about. What if you want a little alone-time to get all your thoughts and ideas together? Everyone sits about 20ft. right next to you… I am still analyzing how the set-up was. I am comparing the atmosphere to that of the movie of The Social Network, so I don’t know how I feel about it yet. 🙂

Anyways, the blog is fun to read so keep posting things up. 🙂
