A New Year and a New Time to Revisit the Most Stressful Jobs in America

First of all, Happy New Year! And with each New Year comes the debut of the most-stressful-jobs-in-America list based on a set criteria of eleven factors including travel, growth potential, working in the public eye, deadlines, competitiveness, physical demands and meeting the public, just to name a few. For 2013, Public Relations Manager is fifth on the list, moving up two spots from last year. In 2011, PR Officer was listed second on the list! As a PR professional myself, it comes as no surprise that this demanding occupation is listed as one of the most stressful jobs in America (as well as among the most caffeinated) due to adhering to strict deadlines, always being available and on-call and tirelessly ensuring our clients’ brands are  seen in a positive light day in and day out. It never stops, and neither does a PR Manager. To view the complete list of the most stressful jobs in America, click here. Lastly, thank you  to our military for all that you do every day! Luckily, I have not experienced the daily demands of an Enlisted Military Personnel, but I certainly do appreciate everything they do for us.
